There was never a f uc k ing scene

You are all deluded if you think their was ever a music scene in Birmingham??
The Editors are a great band but would'nt call them as a brum band as they are from all over the u.k.
There was a time when there was a kind of rivalry and sence of scene with the trace, myst and alaska. Since then there is nothing not a single hope. I mean jinja?what a bunch of co ck lords!! ,as well were helicon ha ha ha what a joke!!!!

RIP You bunch of pig f uc k er s!!!!

See you on the other side x

Re: There was never a f uc k ing scene

Editors were classed as a brum band as far as i am concerned seeing as the majority of their early gigs were in Birmingham. When they were called Snowfield, the only place you could see them live was at The Jug or The Flapper - surely that makes them a brum band??

Yes, there was a time when bands such as Myst, The Trace and Alaska were front runners in Brum - but where are they now?? Obviously they couldn't hack the pace.

Jinja do what they do and no one can take that away from them - All they need is a big power push in terms of promotion and they could be on their way to bigger things. Too many bands sit on their ar*ses and wait for things to happen - you have to go out and get it.

Helicon were good in their time but like other bands on the scene at that time they missed the boat.

Let's hope 2006 will be better but i said the same thing in 1996 and nothing happened.

You're a very bitter person aren't you. Lemme guess, your band missed the boat?

My band never missed the boat - we did very well thanks. We took the opportunities and sailed the waves.

I think you must be bitter cause your band has been on the scene for ages and nothing has happened.
